Visiting the website
When you visit our website, technical access data such as IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type and operating system is processed. The purpose is to deliver the website and operate it securely. This data is received by our hosting and cloud provider, based in Sweden, and by a provider it uses for worldwide website delivery, based in the USA. Delivery normally takes place via a server close to you and, depending on your location, may happen outside Switzerland and the EU.
Fonts
The fonts on this website are loaded from our own web server. No connections are made to Google Fonts or other external font providers.
Contact form and email
If you contact us via the contact form, we process your details (name, company, email address, phone, type of enquiry, requested services, date or period, project location, project description and selected language) to answer your enquiry. The details are stored in a database run by our hosting and cloud provider in Ireland (EU). An email delivery provider then sends a notification containing these details to info@flashframe-media.ch. This mailbox is operated by an email hosting provider whose data centres and data processing are located exclusively in Switzerland. If you email us directly, we process the details in your message.
Purpose of processing
We process your data to respond to your enquiry, prepare an offer, and plan and carry out projects. Technical access data serves to provide and secure the website. We do not send advertising by email or phone without your consent.
Cookies and local storage
This website does not use tracking or marketing cookies and does not use any analytics or advertising services. Your colour scheme setting (Automatic, Light or Dark) is stored only locally in your browser. The chosen language forms part of the web address.
Recipients and service providers
We only share data where this is necessary to handle your enquiry or where we are legally required to do so – never for advertising. Categories of recipients: hosting and cloud provider (website, database; based in Sweden, database in Ireland, other technical services in the United Kingdom and the USA), provider for worldwide website delivery (USA, servers worldwide), email delivery provider (USA) and email hosting provider (Switzerland). The recipient countries are therefore Sweden, Ireland, the United Kingdom and the USA. The Swiss Federal Council has recognised the EU member states and the United Kingdom as providing adequate data protection. The USA is considered adequate only for certified companies (Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework); we are currently clarifying with our provider which safeguards specifically apply to our transfers to the USA. On request, we will tell you the individual providers.
Retention
We keep enquiries and the related correspondence for as long as we need them to handle your request and for any follow-up questions. They are then deleted unless statutory retention obligations apply. Emails arriving in our inbox are stored by the email hosting provider for up to four years.
Your rights
You may request information about your data free of charge, and have it corrected, deleted or its processing restricted. You may object to processing and withdraw any consent at any time. Complaints may be lodged with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). To exercise your rights, simply email info@flashframe-media.ch.
Data security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access and misuse. Data transferred between your browser and our website is encrypted (HTTPS).
Changes
We may amend this privacy policy if our services, the technologies used or legal requirements change. The version published on this website at any given time applies.
